When you're getting ready to work out do you put on music that gets you moving? Do you enjoy watching motivational videos before you work out? Motivation is a powerful tool for achieving goals, but what do you do when motivation wanes? Do you seek out more things to motivate you? Wait for another day when you're more motivated?
Getting motivated to perform your workouts sometimes will be very easy and sometimes it will be very hard. Although highly-motivated people achieve the best results; it is their discipline that gets them to the destination. Highly-motivated people don't wake up and think about how motivated they are about their goals; they focus on the plan, processes, and discipline necessary every day to reach their destination.
If getting up and getting started has been hard and you've been waiting for that moment of motivation to come (what if that moment doesn't come?). Here's me, taking the time to tell you; "you can accomplish your goals". Although your motivation may wane, if you commit to being disciplined and just start; you can push through and achieve something. Maybe along the way of practicing discipline, you'll find the motivation you were looking for all along.
Quit looking for that perfect moment or plan and commit to something. If you took all the time you spent planning or waiting for the right moment, where could you be right now? You got this.
